Overview
Supporting your patients' muscle health often means juggling the biological assessment, the supplementation strategy, protein intake and getting them moving again, all while devoting considerable time to it during and after your consultations. This Tools Pack gathers the educational materials that I use daily in my own support work, ready to be personalised to your colours, to convey clear and smooth information in a click.
What you will learn
- Read the functional biology of muscle health through two axes, the mitochondrial terrain (cofactors, iron status, coenzyme Q10, zinc, selenium, vitamins D and E, omega-3 index, oxidative stress markers) and the hormonal climate (insulin-glucose axis and HOMA, thyroid hormones, somatotropic axis, sex hormones), with optimal value benchmarks
- Build a targeted supplementation strategy, from mitochondrial support to muscle protein synthesis, integrating proteins, leucine, BCAAs, HMB and creatine according to the person's profile
- Quickly calculate a patient's protein needs according to their weight, height and activity level, and objectify insulin resistance through the HOMA calculation
- Translate these needs onto the plate using practical tables (reaching 20, 30 or 40 grams of protein per meal) taking into account leucine content and carbohydrate load
- Compose snacks and plates rich in protein, fun and customisable, to make your patients more autonomous
- Offer a structured programme to get moving again, designed and tested by a qualified sports coach, as a motivational tool and gateway to physical activity
On the programme
- A 12-week training guide, created by a sports coach, in three progressive levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced), based on functional and bodyweight exercises, with AMRAP, HIIT, EMOM and superset formats, plus a perceived-effort tracking table
- A basic guide to muscle-health functional biology, organised around the mitochondrial terrain and the hormonal climate
- A guide to muscle-health supplementation, from mitochondrial support to muscle protein synthesis
- A calculation toolbox (protein needs, HOMA calculation) usable directly with the patient
- Dietary sheets to reach a protein target per meal, a protein snack sheet and an album of muscle-health plates rich in protein
- Important benchmarks on cardiovascular caution and the need for medical supervision before resuming physical activity
Who it is for
This training is for healthcare professionals and practitioners in micronutrition and functional nutrition who support their patients in individual consultation and wish to save time while providing professional-quality materials.
At the end of the training
You will have a set of educational materials customisable to your details, usable immediately during and after your consultations. You will know how to interpret a biological assessment focused on muscle health, calculate and concretely translate protein needs onto the plate, build a coherent supplementation strategy and get your patients moving again with a progressive training guide. You will thus smooth out the conveying of information and strengthen the added value of your support.
